The Tools Subject Matter Expert starts to design the To-Be tools landscape based on the requirements collated from the Statement Of Work and the list of current Client tools. Primary aim should be to enable the successful delivery of services in accordance with the Service Level Agreements for the engagement and support the transformational activities that must occur within the account after the completion of transition. Throughout this activity, the Tools Subject Matter Expert must collaborate with the Technology And Infrastructure Lead, to identify the technical requirements and design the to-be landscape.

Tools Subject Matter Expert in collaboration with the Service Delivery Processes Lead and Delivery Manager validates the captured tools requirements and identified changes to current tools landscape to facilitate design of the tools landscape setup.

In conducting this task, the Subject Matter Expert should typically:

• Develop detailed technology designs to include all in-scope components
• Remediate any gaps that may have been identified
• Define technical solutions
• Plan building of the technical solutions
• Define tools and develop an implementation solution
• Establish network design to meet requirements (for example firewalls and addressing)
• Update Service Engagement Risk Log and develop mitigation approach
• Identify budget changes to the original deal model.

Before publishing the implementation plan with Client, it is necessary to reach agreement on designed tools landscape setup with all internal Capgemini stakeholders.
